AUTUMN—Great Time for Johnsonville® Sausage!

As the weather get a little cooler, there is nothing like having a warm home style pasta dish for dinner!  I always keep sausage in my freezer and I really love the spicy hot fresh sausage from Johnsonville.


The following recipes I made this past month were easy and can be made within 30 minutes.  Add a green salad and some garlic bread and you have a great hearty meal!  All of these recipes, heat up perfectly the next day for lunch (if you have leftovers…unlikely), BONUS!

I made this one for my sister when she dropped in for lunch one day a few weeks ago, we both loved it!


This is an easy one that tastes like pizza, but no delivery needed!


I had this one for dinner one night… with lots of fresh peppers I found at the Farmer’s Market on sale. This also works great on a hoagie bun or over pasta (as I had it that night).


I really enjoy the spicy hot sausage the best, but mild and other flavored types are available. Check your local grocer for the different flavors and you can usually find it next to cold cuts, in the fresh sausage area. Or check out their website:

    These are good quality sausages… we have been getting them frozen and fresh lately. I must feature them in a post sometime!

      there are so good…we get them fresh in our market but I do fresh them if they are on sale!
